    About the Book

    Edit

Bing and Bob couldn’t have had a better time on any of their “Road to..." adventures.

John, Paul, (George & Ringo) Ann Marie, and Paula left Balboa Island on a Friday morning for our own three-day version of the Baja 1000. John and Ann Marie had made this trip two or three times before in their sordid past; however, Paul and I were Baja Highway virgins. With malice of forethought, John scared the #!%* out of me with stories of bad roads, bandits, Army checkpoints and, worst of all, no public restrooms for hundreds of miles.

Well, it wasn’t scary at all. In fact, the excursion through Baja revealed the incredible beauty and splendor of this desolate peninsula. We had a fabulous adventure on (and off) the road, topped off with five leisurely days at Casa Fiesta. Good times with great friends—it just doesn’t get any better than that!
