I have been taking pictures for many years starting with a manual film camera and "tinkered" with photography off and on through the years. I then rediscovered the joys of photography with the advent of the digital camera. I took my first trip to Yellowstone in 1989 which was the year after the huge 1988 fires. All I have of that trip are memories of what I saw. In 2000 I went back and began photographing the many wonders that the park holds. I returned to the park in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2006. Recently I have made the commitment to becoming a better wildlife photographer and will be exploring other portions of the Pacific NW and locations around the world.
