On November 9, 2007 the most influential person I knew passed away: my great grandmother, Mawmaw Mae. This was a huge year for me-my senior year of high school. She has always played a huge role in my life my life. Living just across the road, we saw each other nearly every day. She watched me grow up….She helped me grow up. She told stories that I’ll never forget and passed along her wisdom to me.
Seven years later her house still stands, slowly decaying from the lack of the life it once had. After her passing, many of her belongings were taken from whom she had willed them out to, but many of the items are still there, some just as she left them. This is what is Left Behind.
