This book was written and illustrated by Walter W. Wright. He believes drawing is fundamental. It forms the basis for painting, printmaking, and sculpture. You can make art without it, of course, but it is part of a long and vital tradition.



The drawings in this book were made over a period of about fifteen years, when the author made a serious commitment to learning to draw.
