Allan McGregor's current work attempts to advocate a personal perspective of place that is fundamentally different to that of traditional landscape photography where panoramas and vistas are almost in absentia. instead the imagery serves to contextualise the allegorical that perhaps echoes the author’s personal interpretation of and his deep rooted fascination with the connection between the element of water and that of the human condition and how both, as a consequence, are irrevocably and eternally intertwined with the landscape.
