This is a story about two lost souls who briefly connect and collide only to have their relationship disintegrate into despair. I conjured up their dark and lonely world by drawing from personal interpretations of emotions that reside just underneath the surface of the masks we all wear everyday. My intention was to delve deep into their psyche and explore the universal truths that bind us together as people. By coupling haunting and melancholic imagery with emotionally loaded expressions, I hope to alter the context of the images and enhance the impact of the story. The images lend a subtle visual depiction to a more fleeting, interior state of mind.
