About the Book
The aim of this book is twofold just like the nature of its subject. It juxtaposes playful and childish themes (through a vivid colour scheme and illustrations) with existential questions about the pursuit of happiness, abuse and tolerance in society.
Despite the subject of infantilism being inherently controversial, this book was not designed to shock or become part of a freak show. There's always an element of voyeurism when showing someone in their personal space, certainly more so if they happen to be of an alternative persuasion. However the imagery reveals a very personable, gentle and subtle side to the adult baby and infantilism lifestyle while also carrying a certain sense of humour and visual charm.
Created over the course of several months, this book offers a mix of portrait and still life images of a single subject engaging in daily activities and of the many objects holding the foundations of his lifestyle. The overlapping territories of adult and adolescent paint a complex and often ambiguous picture of one man's world, created and lived on his own terms.
