Death Marches of 1945 is a photographic project by italian photographer Victoria Cagol. The work focus is the evacuation of Auschwitz concentration camps in January 1945. Through the medium of photography it documents the route of the 70 km march from Oświęcim (Auschwitz) to Wodzisław Śląski, recording the monuments and memorials that stand along the way, testimonies of what has been.
