In Parallel Worlds, I chose disparate, discordant elements within one backdrop. As such, the images appear to be made up of two distinct, separate realities when in actuality they are one single image - one reality. They depict potential parallel worlds implying a relationship, or lack thereof, within the image, where the laws of nature appear to be different, yet they are within one context, one spot.

Choosing the images for this effort, consequently, became less a matter of setting, and more a matter of theme, emphasis and incongruence.

I welcome you to reflect on these images often. Each observation will reveal other potential, detached realities not seen previously, other possible parallel worlds.

As it turns out, the reality we observe depends on us – on how we choose to refer to it. It's a matter of self-reference.
