This is a photo book with 28 photos taken and edited by Claus Schmidt.
The book is documenting the raw state for cow # 1951 before it was decorated by artist Heidi Sachmann and became part of the 2007 Copenhagen Cow Parade, sporting the name "Cowpenhagen".
After completion this Cow Parade cow claimed the highest auction price of all C.P cows in Denmark. These are "before" pictures, shot in the home of the artist upon reception of the raw cow canvas, using natural light only.
