About the Book
People have been writing and communicating on walls for centuries. It’s only now in modern society that when we see it on the side of a building we question it’s functionality. There is a fine line between art and vandalism. But do street signs that cannot be read any more hold the same empty nature as pointless graffiti? This is one question that does not validate or legitimise the practice of graffiti, but is one that helps to make a distinction between graffiti and street art.
