Appleton Wiske is a small village in North Yorkshire, I wanted to document this place (my home) and William Atkinson who is a big influence within the community.

William was born 7th March 1926 and is currently the oldest person to live in Appleton Wiske. At the age of 88, he has been part of the village community for many years, especially in the farming business.
Village Farm is where he lives now and the farm behind his home was a place where I had never been. Having the opportunity now, to see this and to document the location is something I am grateful for.
I have documented the past and present of the life of William and how things have changed over time, looking at him as a person and the location where he still lives today.
