About the Book
365 is a book documenting my life in 2013 via a sketch a day.
The project began life as a way to encourage myself to continue pursuing my passion for painting and sketching. What better way to do it than through an iterative process testing and experimenting with different styles, medium and technique then posting it on social media daily for feedback.
Throughout the project a string of mini series constantly show up whereby I find a technique I am interested in and repeat the process via daily subject matters that resonate with my current state of mind and experiences.
After posting my daily sketches on social media for one year, 365 takes the uploaded sketches from a state of floating on the internet and chronologically documents the sketches into a visual and tangible traditional book format.
