Futurism was a radical movement constructed by
the past and driven by the future. Fascism, violence,
anti-feminism, and technology all played
a part as well in the formation of Futurism and
were even some of its principles. Filippo Tommaso
Marinetti, Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni
and Fortunato Depero were contributors to this
movement and their work certainly rel ected, not only
history of the time period, but its founding principles.
