Texas artist, Thomas Judd, has been making photographs for over 45 years. What began as a hobby in the late 1960’s eventually turned into a career. Growing up in the Hudson Valley region of New York State, Judd learned how to develop film and make black and white prints in a home darkroom. Thomas Judd earned a B.A. degree in photography from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1980 and has made a successful career as a free-lance photographer ever since. While experienced in many areas of commercial photography, as well as having taught photography, Judd has always kept a place in his life for making photographs that are purely for artistic enjoyment.
