The relationship between architecture and
construction technology has played a critical role
in the development of both disciplines throughout
history. This link is currently undergoing it’s next
revolution, as design and production processes are
influenced by computational advances. Considering
the development and the use of a particular fabrication
method, this research intends to investigate the
simulation to production relationship and attempts
to explore how manufacturing parameters can be
integrated into the design process, to free designers
from traditional fabrication constraints.
