Based on people in my life, this story tells my story in two girls. Augie, who moves around, not knowing where to stop. Mietta, quiet and captivating. These two girls find a friendship.

The tree is based on the 'magic tree', my friends and I nick-named in my old home, Hanoi, Vietnam. The big kids would tell us storys about how the tree did things others couldn't.

It was magic.

Three years later we left leaving my old friends and making new ones. Now I have just started High School, history is repeating itself, "Good bye old, hello new"
I havn't said 'hello'yet.
I will though. Everyone will.
