"Resonance was created by photographer/artist Charlie Naebeck to explore the topic of body image and the diversity of the human form through black and white photography after losing a close friend to bulimia.

Naebeck's goal is to open a narrative on positive body image to push for acceptance of different body types by photographing male and female figure nudes in black and white and to grant each individual a voice through the interview process on their thoughts about body image in society today.

Through the project, there were several people that came out that shared their own struggles with eating disorders, bullying, and lack of self confidence. Many also wished to pose for the project to support people that they know and love, and to support and empower each other.

This book is for anyone who has ever struggled with body image, and it is to support the empowerment, liberation, and strength of those that view this work to share that it is ok to be who we are in our own skin."
