Each double page spread consists of an extract taken from one of the stories I wrote at a younger age, accompanied by an image which is a mixture of two images from my personal photo library that illustrate the story in two different aspects. The stories illustrate the theme "Telling Tales", using my personal images to also tell tales of my past. Thinking about the theme of telling tales, the quote "There's two sides to every story" came to me, which inspired me to mix two images together for illustration, as oppose to just using one. I decided to create a book in a diary style, showing that its a personal account, converting my handwriting into a font to use for the text.
