About the Book
Make Sense is a book based on the theory of empiricism and its manifestations in human communication. The book explores the multiple meanings of words within our language, and their connection to the senses.
Our five senses are the tools we are born with to experience the world. As a child we learn about our surroundings with these five devices. To understand or explain something that is new to us, for it to Make Sense, we compare it to something we have already experienced to give it context. Association is the first step in understanding. Since we use our five senses to gain our initial knowledge base to build upon, our senses are the foundation for our language.
