In life, inspiration comes in many forms. At times it is shrouded in beauty, but at other times disguised in pain, loss and darkness. It’s easy to inspire oneself with beauty, but much harder to do so in the face of adversity. In the latter situations, I find that in attempting to capture my feelings and visions in words and photos; I could make some sense out of these experiences and turn whatever seemed unbearable at the time into wisdom and in turn inspiration for change and gratitude.

In this volume is a collection of my own photos – some paired with poems and quotes from well-known authors and poets whom I love, some with my own poems, and writings. I write in both English and Thai languages – whichever struck my fancy at the time. Some poems are translated, some left in original form.
