Cosplay! It's a phenomenon and one that is becoming an ever greater presence in our popular culture with more comic, film, tv, sci-fi, anime, manga and videogame conventions than ever attracting an ever greater number of fans dressed to the nines as their favourite characters from all forms of media. And with this ever growing number of cosplayers has come a huge rise in the number of cosplay photographers, among whose ranks I now consider myself to be a part of. Between the years 2011 and 2013 I was fortunate enough to attend two great events each year, both showcasing a wide array of cosplayers dressed up as a wide array of characters. One, Collectormania in Milton Keynes, is a long established event. The other, Wales Comic Con in Wrexham, is an event that started very small but has exploded in recent years. Here I present, for your viewing pleasure, my best and favourite images from all of these events that I have attended over the course of the previous three years. Long live cosplay!
