Photographer Biography

I have been fascinated with photography since my mom purchased a Canon back in the ‘The Day’ with a telephoto lens. Oh, the swim meet and ballet recital pictures she took with that camera!

I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master’s degree in Business Management as well as Samford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In my senior year of undergraduate work at Samford, I took a photography class and fell in love with the craft. I developed (old school) and edited my own work using my mom’s old Canon.

Since then, I moved into digital photography and studied with the best – including Lynne Rigby, Ashley Spaulding. and numerous others. I completed many courses – including technical processing and editing as well as lifestyle photography with children.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), Clickin’ Moms, and The Photographer Within. I own and operate my business as a L.L.C. I am constantly searching for development opportunities and will be a lifelong learner, there’s always something new to gain or experience!

I am a mom of triplets girls plus surprise girl #4! My greatest joy in life is capturing their moods and facial expressions in photography. I will do the same for you. I am happy to shoot in the location of your choice (in the Birmingham area), whether that is at an outside venue or your own home. I have found, with my particular style of photography, home sites can be both more productive for children and photographer.

My hobbies include fitness swimming, Pilates, and chasing little girls!
