About the Book
This cookbook was written in honor of my mother, Suszette McKay, who passed away on September 20, 2005, as a result of having pulmonary fibrosis.



My mother and I shared a great passion for cooking and when she passed away, I was amazed at the volume of recipes she had created and saved over the years. Because so many loved her cooking and asked for recipes, I pulled some of my favorites together to share with friends and family.



The proceeds earned from sales of this book go to the Suszette McKay Memorial Foundation, an IRS approved 501c3 charitable organization.

Suszette McKay Memorial Foundation

The Suszette McKay Memorial Foundation was created to honor the memory of my mother, Suszette McKay, after she passed away from pulmonary fibrosis complications on September 20, 2005. The Foundation was created to act as a giving vehicle for continued research in pulmonary fibrosis at the University of Chicago. The Suszette McKay Memorial Foundation is a 501c3 organization and achieved this status in 2008. Therefore, donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible as per corresponding IRS guidelines.
