Natural landscapes; those words conjure up images of bright green fields, beautiful sunsets and vast mountain ranges in our minds. These idyllic places seem far away from us, somewhere distant, where we may never visit. It may surprise you to hear, then, that these places are all around us; we just have to stop and look. For this reason I wanted to capture the beauty of my local area in this book (Blackwood, South Wales), not just the distant, faraway landscapes we dream of.

I want people to turn the pages and get a greater understanding of the place we call home. I want people to see the power and scale of nature. I simply want people to finish looking at my book thinking, "Shall we go for a walk?"
