My name is Eleanor Minnehan, and I am a senior in high school. I wrote this book to teach younger kids about the importance of patience and good manners. Many of the children I know personally and others I have encountered in my time do not think much about being respectful to others, and view themselves as the centers of their own universes, where everyone around them lives to serve their every whim. I want to encourage young children to appreciate the people around them and to eventually become respectful members of today’s society
