Gianrico, born in Vittoria, a town in the Ragusa region of Sicily, began his journey in photography as a teenager, using this extraordinary medium to immortalize the architectural features peculiar to his historical hometown.His love of travel and inborn adventurous spirit drive him beyond his national boundaries to far away countries such as Afghanistan, Tanzania, and Kenya, greatly inspiring his creative spirit. After living in Milan, Bari and Naples for many years, Gianrico now resides permanently in Messina, Sicily, where he lives and works.
