"Ocean Dreams" is a collection of Olga Melhiser's colorful photographs taken during her journeys to the Caribbean. Olga visits the Caribbean Islands every chance she gets. The Caribbean is her ultimate location for her photographic journeys because of the numerous islands to explore, none of them like another, each offering a unique canvas of landscapes, peoples, and cultures to capture. Culminating with the Caribbean Sea itself as it beckons with its gently alluring turquois sun warmed waters. The vast encompassing Atlantic Ocean on the Caribbean’s borders serves to feed and nourish the ever-changing lifescape that Olga seeks to preserve on camera. Olga Melhiser is a landscape, underwater and lifestyle photographer based in Austin, Texas. Her deep love for the ocean started at age 6 when she moved with her parents to one of the Caribbean islands. The ocean was her playground for three and a half years until the family had to return on the main land. Now with a family of her own and as a Certified Advanced Scuba Diver, Olga returns to the Caribbean every chance she gets. The ocean has never stopped calling.
