About the Book
An in depth photographic essay focused on the glories of the Engadine valley of eastern Switzerland. The wildest part of the country this book revels in the nature of the region- from the intensely colored alpine blooms, the wildflowers of the valleys and the alpenroses of the high pastures to encounters with domesticated cows and a herd of wild steinbok. Cultural/ historical notes were provided by ancient painted villages with scraffitti decorations, old castles & churches, a stage of the bike race-Tour de Suisse and many locals- speakers of Romansch.
