A compilation of personal stories beginning with the author's life on the family farm in 20's and 30's Iowa complete with horse disasters, weather and health disasters, snakes, trains, and family lore. Later stories recount the author's experiences in World War II on Okinawa, then his career as a stone letterer/craftsman and family man.
