This wonderful old Scottish cookery book was compiled by the women of Kirkliston from the 1950’s. The original ‘book’ was given to me by Mary (Stewart) Turner and retold with photos and illustrations. Its a ‘quirky’ book transcribed word for word from the original and as such is full of anomalies’ which I try to decipher, but do have fun recreating these recipes, especially if you have a sweet tooth.
