About the Book
Simple, home cooked recipes that I've made time and time again. These recipes are tried and true with some even passed down for generations. The title of my book comes from a comment someone once made about how my kitchen must be huge to be able to come up with such delicious treats. My answer to that comment was that I have a small, simple inconsequential west side kitchen and that's all it takes. It really is that easy.

Born and raised in saskatoon SK. My book was inspired by my friends and family always asking for my recipes and thinking they would be too difficult to try them on their own. I have set out to prove them wrong with 13 delicious but incredibly easy recipes that I have personally made over and over again and am sure will work the first time. The name "west side kitchen" came to life when someone once commented on my food implying that I must have a huge kitchen in order to cook the way I do. To which I laughed and simply thought of how small and inconsequential my west side kitchen really is.
