Shyla was born in St. Louis, MO but grew up in Frazee, MN. She lived in Auckland, New Zealand as an exchange student. Attended Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. Was the founder and President of two companies, Freight Finders, Inc., and Chic Pursenality, Inc. Now, a stay-at-home mom, she spends time reading, golfing, bowling, and travel to Minnesota when she can. She is the mother of a profoundly Autistic teenage son, and three other children.
