In September 2013, I travelled from cottage country, Parry Sound, to my hometown of Cambridge, Ontario to document the differences between the two communities. The following images – water towers, marinas, docks, motels, hotels, schools rivers and lakes – depict an expanding city contrasted with undeveloped northern Ontario. The project has served as a way for myself to reflect on our ever developing environment and the memories I have within these spaces.
