Reconstruction
I asked twelve girls the following question, “What do you want to change about yourself physically?” Each girl responded in writing with something different. I then photographed each girl and altered their photograph according to what they wanted to alter about themselves. The girls did not see their altered photographs. In the altered photographs the girls look nothing like themselves. The first photograph is the unaltered image and the second photograph is the altered image. In these images which one do you think is more beautiful?
