Amelia is six years old and loves adventures. She has mild left hemiplegia which means that the left side of her body is weaker than the right. Amelia wears a splint called an AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis) on her left leg to help with her walking. However, she is very determined and tries not to let her condition stop her doing what she wants to do.
