Eight girls, friends since childhood, were dubbed 'the Crazy 8' by one of our parents when we were around 12. The name stuck and so has the friendship - for over 50 years. Geographically scattered around the US and into the UK it's hard to get all eight together for our annual reunions. This year we did it, and the book is a celebration of the event.
