About the Book
A photographic account of Sanoma's last day in Diegem, Belgium.
In june 2013, Sanoma moved its offices from Diegem and Antwerp to Mechelen. Along with the move, came a complete company overhaul that profoundly impacted every employee and freelance collaborator.
Many people lost their job, many others had to re-apply for their job, competing with long time colleagues... Despite everybody's brave efforts to put on a smiling face and to perform their duties in difficult circumstances, it was definitely a difficult and emotional moment: parting with friends and colleagues, leaving a familiar and cosy environment, coping with uncertainty and blurry challenges.
So, on this very last day, I wandered with my camera in the building, capturing last glimpse of what was our environment for the past 10 years or so.

Philippe Carly
Brussels, Belgium
Did many concert photography ( http://www.newwavephotos.com ) back in the late 70s and early 80s: witnessed early Cure and U2 gigs for instance. I'm probably best known for my iconic photos of the late Ian Curtis, singer of Joy Division. I started model photography in 2005 and now concentrate on glamour / nude / beauty / portrait photography.
