Cadair Idris is a mountain in Wales. This is not a 'where to' or a 'what is', though, but a celebration of place that acknowledges emotional and spiritual experience. There is both overview and detail. My photographs dominate the first two thirds of the book which is loosely structured according to different areas of the mountain, and the final third of the book is more drawn from my written journals of days on the hill, in acutely-grounded poetic prose with interleaved images.

Some of the photographs were in my one-person show at Aberystwyth Arts Centre in 2006, which had the same title as this book.
