    About the Book

    Edit

Trans-Siberian is a way of traveling that substracts, instead of adding. Usually, when I leave for a trip I do it with the hope of gathering something. For the first time, instead, I found myself taking away.

I’m not talking about deprivation but synthesys, according to the Russian spirit. The goal is essence. Mile after mile you’re forced to take away otherwise your emotional baggage becomes too strong to allow you to reach your destination; getting rid of it becomes a catharsis which is functional to the travel.

You become one with movement, staticity is inadequate, it’s transition that sets the pace.
