"At a time when the power of economic movements rises up before the powerless individual, joining itself to the overwhelming potency of nature in the construction of the esthetic category of the sublime, it seems appropriate to call this compendium of work the 'General Ledger', a reference to a company’s most important accounting book, but also to that book I found by chance in the factory, which has served for years as the heart of my projects.
This publication does not pretend to collect all of the pieces I created from 2003 to 2012; this would be the mission of the Daily Ledger, in which all of the movements/pieces are registered chronologically. Rather, like the General Ledger, this collection seeks to create a summary of my work, classifying it according to the account/ creative area concerned.
