    About the Book

    Edit

For over 6 years Project KengiKat and Do Something Saturday backed by my close circle of friends and a loyal team of volunteers and supporters have worked very hard to restore dignity and respect to homeless individuals, seniors, children and people living with HIV.

This book is a celebration of the work I created over 6 years ago and a tribute to all the wonderful people who have supported my work since the beginning and the people we've tried very hard to serve with love and respect.

From the very first Santa Monica Beach outreach and our HIV outreach in Long Beach to the Baskets of Love and Operation Give Hope outreaches, Project KengiKat and Do Something Saturday represent grassroots outreach at its best. They represent what is possible when humanity comes before community creating connection without bureaucracy.
