About the Book
This photo book follows 12 US tourist to Western Turkey where they board a wooden Turkish gulet and sail down the Aegean coast from the island of Tenedos to Bodrum. Photographs record the route, onboard and debarkation to visit ancient ruins along the coast. The selected photographs are scenic, and also record the travel guest's activities and the boats crew activities.
The group met in Istanbul and traveled together to the Aegean coast by land. They stop at Gallipoli, Canakkale, Troy. Dropping anchor at coastal bays and harbors, the guest would visit Assos, Pergamon, Kusadasi, Ephesus,Priene,Miletus,Didyma and Bodrum where the trip ended.
