The photographic work I'm currently engaged with involves taking informal architectural images. I'm interested in the way the materials from which these building are made change the overall aesthetics of a city. Liverpool, known for its large Portland stone buildings and Manchester for its iconic tiled buildings such as the Midland Hotel and the Refuge building, have new visual aesthetics built on the use of metal, glass and concrete.
