Over 40 years experience. She started out studying at art school from the age of 14 and then went on to work as a graphic designer in the 80s for the next 15 years. She eventually ran an advertising agency with a partner for amost 5 years before moving to Germany. She then started teaching painting to adults from the late 90s in Germany and carried on teaching Art in Malta until 2019 when Covid set in. She is now painting and experimenting with different media. While in Germany she exhibited her paintings extensively and has done so up to recently. She also has been holding painting holidays since 2014 and tutored groups abroad. While photography was part of her graphic work.she now uses it to inspire her paintings. In the 1980s Doranne produced a series postcards, posters and calendars.
