A photographer for 41 years, working may way up from Canon cameras to Mamiya 645 and ultimately Pentax 6x7 medium format I have now gone full circle and I am back to using Canon again. I currently utilise Canon digital SLR's with L series lenses. Until recently the secretary of the Phoenix Railway Photographic Circle which I have been a proud member of for over 20 years now, attempting to push the envelope of progressive railway photography. Now living in Colchester, Essex after 26 years in Northampton I have swapped the gentle rolling hills of Northamptonshire for Constable country. Travelling the world and my own country extensively, I love the dramatic scenery of the American West, the Swiss Alps, the Tuscan hills, the Scottish Highands and the west coast of Ireland. Springtime in the Tehachapi Mountains of California and winter in the Mojave desert are my nirvana though.
