A New Reality looks at three different bodies of work, nOOb, War Games and Cobb, which have been created to show unfamiliar realities that are more well-known than they are at first understood. They try to deceive us into believing something that they aren’t, and in doing so create more possibilities as to what is seen.



The photographs have come from an interest in video games, which have formed the ideas for these works. Being captivated by them, and creating work from the influence they have had on the way I think, enabled me to create work that corresponds to one another, but also have their own meanings.
