It was a spur of the moment decision, and one I am glad we made. I had never been to Europe before and my husband, Mark, had not been back for more than 20 years. Weeks of planning ensued, and we were soon off for our mid-June whirlwind tour of Europe.



As a photographer, I did not know what to expect, other than I would be hauling around about 20 pounds of camera gear wherever I went. When we returned, I was delighted to see that I captured our experience in ways I had not thought possible.



Throughout these pages are photos from England, France and Italy as seen through our eyes. Eyes that gazed upon countless masterpieces, beautiful cityscapes, and moments in time that could only be found in the locations they were shot.
