Born and raised in Michigan, Ginny attended the University of Michigan (BA, 1965). Photography became a major hobby after summers in Jackson Hole, Wyo, and has continued through marriage and child-rearing into retirement years. Ginny and husband Jim travel to old cities and villages in Europe where her eye finds old winding streets and ancient sites. Her photography emphasizes "form," whether reflections on water, leaves in sunlight, architecture, and light, found anywhere.
