About the Book
Permanent Crease is a photographic odyssey of the global cultural movement of B-Boying. After traveling around the world competing in B-Boy battles and immersing himself culturally in different cities, Ryan Michael Louie shares images from his personal archives documenting the lives of B-Boys and B-Girls. Permanent Crease captures candid photos of the lifestyles of every day people; expressing their passions and keeping the crease. The book is a testament to all the girls and boys worldwide who dance swift, stay clean, and keep a permanent crease on their pants by all means necessary.
